Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CertPie ("we", "us", or "our"), operated at certpie.com. By creating an account or using any part of the CertPie platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CertPie.

CertPie is a software service for designing, generating, and distributing professional certificates. It is available in Free, Pro, and Business plans, each with different features and usage limits.

Every certificate has a public verification page, reachable through its link or QR code. Anyone who has the link can see the details shown on that page. When you send certificates by email, we send them to your recipients on your behalf, using the addresses you provide.

• Provide accurate and complete information when you create your account.
• Keep your account credentials secure, and do not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@certpie.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use CertPie to issue fraudulent or misleading certificates.
• Upload recipient data without proper consent.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the platform.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Impersonate another organization or individual.

Each plan includes specific usage limits:

• Free: 30 certificates a month, 3 custom templates, 1 team member
• Pro: 500 certificates a month, unlimited custom templates, 3 team members
• Business: unlimited certificates a month, unlimited custom templates, 10 team members

Exceeding your plan limits requires an upgrade. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate fair use policies.

• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Dodo Payments, depending on the option you choose at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the next billing date.
• Certificate credits are bought as a one-time payment. They do not expire, and they add to the certificates included in your plan.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice.

CertPie and its branding, code, and design are the intellectual property of CertPie. Templates created by CertPie remain our property.

Content you upload, including logos, CSV data, and custom templates, remains yours. By using the service, you grant CertPie a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

• You may cancel your account at any time from your Settings page.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
• After termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

CertPie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or error-free operation of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertPie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms are to be resolved in the courts of India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify users by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
